CORONAVIRUS – How we aim to continue our service to YOU

We know that you’ve probably heard far too much about Coronavirus already but it seems it’s not going anywhere fast and something that we’re all going to have to make short term adjustments for.

Communication is key for us at Atlantic, so we want to keep you updated on how Atlantic plans to operate during the current Coronavirus outbreak. Our aim during this time is to continue to deliver a high level of service whilst simultaneously keeping ‘Team Atlantic’ safe and healthy.

Will service levels change?

We have been assured by our supply partners that stock levels of most products remain well supported, especially since UK stock levels were upped last year to counteract any effects of Brexit. As such we are pleased to say that our excellent service levels remain currently unchanged, however we’re also aware that the Coronavirus outbreak is a rapidly changing situation.

As you may be aware there has been a huge demand for disposables (gloves, respiratory masks) which means that these products are scarce and are subject to restrictions, price increases & stock outs. Their production in China has been massively interrupted due to the restrictions in place there. Our supply partner has prioritised to only stock & supply products that are essential to British & Irish industrial and healthcare organisations which we fully support.

We continue to work closely with all of our supply partners and aim to continue providing workwear & uniform solutions and maintain our high level of service to you.

How are we checking the progress of the outbreak?

We’re continuing to follow advice from Public Health England, the WHO and both the local and national government on the situation. If you have two minutes, we’d urge you to read the government guidelines here, which are regularly updated.

What are we doing to ensure ‘Team Atlantic’ won’t be affected?

Our teams receive regular updates about the latest guidance and we’re continually taking steps to stay ahead of the situation and are exceeding the advised standards on cleaning and hygiene in order to keep the team healthy.
