Case Study

Mission Out - Tingley Garden Centre

Mission Out is a high adrenaline, outdoor adventure play area based at Tingley Garden Centre aimed primarily at children form age 6 upwards.

The uniform needed to reflect the core identity and personality of the brand, be fit for purpose for working outdoors, as well as cover all members of staff, from ‘Team’, ‘Team Leaders’ and catering staff while remaining cohesive.

Once we were given the Brand Guidelines for Mission Out, it was clear that the overall look for the uniform had to feel modern and energetic and of course fit for purpose.

Highlights of orange on black keep everything on brand, with oversized logos to emphasise the branding. Modern fabric technology, such as high wicking T-shirts, ripstop trousers and waterproof, windproof, and breathable coats respond to the functionality requirements for the uniform. There is also an important layering aspect to the uniform which helps the wearer choose the right pieces to remain comfortable in the unpredictable British Weather.

While the uniform itself is very distinctive from members of the public, each piece identifies the wearer as ‘TEAM’ or ‘TEAM LEADER’, which is printed in the brand font across the back.
